The Cowichan Consort Orchestra & Choir present an evening of powerful and moving choral music, centered around Karl Jenkins’ Stabat Mater.
This evocative work, paired with selections by Sibelius and Elgar, brings together voice and orchestra in a deeply expressive program. Featuring contralto soloist Cari Burdett and bassoon soloist Sandra Wilson, under the direction of conductor Pippa Williams, this concert offers a rich and contemplative musical experience.
