The Harmonic Presence work helps participants awaken to presence through silent listening and discovering the harmonic essence of sound.

Join us for an in-person experience diving into the world of harmonics and vocal magic with David Hykes! This workshop is open to both the general public and musicians, singers, composers, and healing sounds practitioners. Together we explore the many aspects of Harmonic Chant — uniting deeper listening and sounding practices that explore the spectral radiance of our voices and how they can weave amazing new vocal realms of expression.

Concert: 6:30-8:30pm; fee: *40.00

David’s concert will blend his mastery of harmonic chant, and will include a “harmonic meeting”, where audiences can discover together new dimensions of collective vocal resounding, “sound mandalas”, deeper listening, and the experience of deeper healing connections.

About the facilitator:
David Hykes is a composer-singer, teacher and mentor devoted to contemplative and compassionate musical practice and sharing for over 40 years. Based in France, he has released 12 albums, performed and taught world-wide with his groups, and has served as a Contemplative Faculty member for the Mind and Life Institute. He has worked with and presented on behalf of groups of many sizes, from the Disarmament rally in New York in 1982 (with 800,000 people) to “harmonic meetings” with concert audiences, conference audiences, presentations in schools, and universities.
